It seems that Nextel will have competition soon. AT&T is planning on launching its trial version of Push To Talk feature. It seems that it will add features such as GPS and a large contact list.
I believe that it is a bold move by AT&T. Other than it being beneficial to field workers (i.e. Police, Security, On-Field Techs), who uses PTT anymore. I just can't find myself using this function to speak with family members and friends.
